Mostafa Kherghepoush is an award-winning film editor from Tehran, Iran. He has been editing since 1997 and has over 40 credits under his name.

Mostafa is currently a Toronto based film editor. 

​

He won his first Crystal Simorgh for best editing on Duel and his first Torino Underground Cinefest award for Silenced Tree along with seven more nominations from titles such as The Pear Tree, The Truck and Berlin -7°. He's experienced in working on documentaries as well, in one of his projects he worked with an academy award nominee by the name of Justine Shapiro in the creation of Our Summer in Tehran.

Mostafa has also consulted directors in their titles and has assisted them to enhance the quality of the product.

Mostafa's passion in storytelling is inherent in all his work. His goal is to craft a piece of narrative that gets the best response and engagement from the viewer, whether it's a documentary or a drama he tends to get the best out of what he is provided with.
